The multiwave radioheliograph at the foot of the Eastern Sayan mountains is a facility of the National Heliogeophysical Complex of RAS that is unique in the world. The data it collects allows scientists to observe the smallest-scale processes in the solar corona and correct predictions of solar activity. A correspondent from irk.aif.ru visited the unique radio observatory to learn how the array of 528 antennas advances our understanding of fine processes on the Sun.
