The Irkutsk Regional Court dismissed a lawsuit filed by Pyotr Mekhonshin against the city administration and the Duma of Irkutsk. The lawsuit sought to annul their decision to amend the city's general plan. The activist challenged the decision to transfer a section of the Akademgorodok woodland for development, where the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics SB RAS (a third party in the dispute) is constructing a Control and Data Processing Center as part of the National Heliogeophysical Complex of the RAS megaproject.
