This year, the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics SB RAS has seen a surge in applications. According to Elena Belousova, Head of the Postgraduate and Master’s Studies Department, the master’s program received 12 applications for just six state-funded places. The postgraduate school attracted even higher interest, with 17 candidates applying for seven available spots.

Since the launch of Master’s program at the Institute in 2020, 100% of its graduates have advanced directly into the ISTP SB RAS PhD track. 90% of those who completed their postgraduate studies remain at the Institute, continuing their scientific or professional careers on staff.
