Representatives of the ISTP SB RAS Directorate, under the leadership of Academician Gely Zherebtsov (scientific advisor of the Russian Academy of Sciences' National Heliogeophysical Complex), have inspected the construction site for a state-of-the-art Large Solar Telescope-Coronagraph, which will feature a three-meter-diameter mirror. The new facility is being built at the Sayan Solar Observatory near the Mondy settlement in the Republic of Buryatia as part of the NHC RAS infrastructure.
