Entrance Examinations for Postgraduate Studies

The entrance exam is an oral examination in Russian language conducted face-to-face, testing knowledge in Physics. For admission to the exam, a valid ID (passport) must be presented; use of communication devices during the exam is prohibited.
Each exam ticket contains three theoretical questions from the list.Answers are evaluated using a 100-point scale; minimum passing score is 50 points per question; final grade is calculated as arithmetic mean of all scores.
A candidate receives three days for preparation, gets their ticket four days prior to the exam date, presents a report and slides based on three questions from the ticket.
No retakes allowed; candidates who achieve equal scores will be admitted according to individual achievements; successful applicants submit either original diploma (for quota-based enrollment) or sign contract for paid services (for fee-paying basis).
