A series of joint experiments aimed at measuring the temperature of Earth’s upper atmosphere has commenced at the Irkutsk Incoherent Scatter Radar (Usolye-7) and the Complex of Optical Instruments (Tory settlement, Buryat Republic), both operated by the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics SB RAS. The researchers intend to conduct these measurements across various seasons throughout an entire 11-year solar cycle to accumulate the essential dataset.
