Scientists at the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics SB RAS offered a method that enhances the precision of ultraviolet emission measurements at satellites operated by NASA and ESA. Their paper titled “Calibration of the degrading absolute SOHO/SEM ultraviolet flux using ground-based solar activity indices” was published on January 1, 2026, in Advances in Space Research, an official journal of the Committee on Space Research under the International Council for Scientific Unions. The study is authored by Yuri Yasyukevich, Deputy Director of ISTP SB RAS and Doctor of Physical-Mathematical Sciences, Ekaterina Danilchuk and Larisa Kashapova, both Candidates of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, and researcher Artem Vesnin.
